About me
Looking for PhD position and Research Assistant at The Coastal Hydraulics Laboratory, focusing on the reliability analysis, risk, resilience, and machine learning in coastal and marine structures engineering. Pouya received a BSc in Civil Engineering from The National University of Skills in 2020 and an MSc in Civil Engineering (coastal, port, and marine structures) from Tarbiat Modares University in 2024. He has contributed to numerous technical projects, including reliability design and optimization in structures, especially in coastal and marine structures, hydrodynamic modeling, and remote sensing. With proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and specialized software such as ArcGIS Pro, SAP2000, Google Earth Engine, UQLab, and Mike Zero, he combines technical skills with strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities. Additionally, he actively supervises construction projects and engages in graduate research and teaching assistant at TMU advised by Prof. Hassan Akbari and Prof. Mehdi Shafieefar, further enhancing his academic and professional portfolio.
